Here on this video tape we
gather the components of an Intel Pentium
Instead of purchasing a system from any of the popular computer stores, we purchase the system piece by piece, starting with the system unit case. Along with the case we purchased an Intel D850GB Motherboard which uses the Intel Pentium 4 CPU chip.
This awesome mainboard comes with audio and the new Memory chips. Also included on this board is the new AGP Connection. Learn all about these as you view the video tape.
After carefully installing the motherboard in the system unit case, the P4 Chip is then installed with the Heat Sink and its large Cooling Fan. Next the new RIMM Memory chips were installed on the motherboard but we very carefully show you how they are installed.And if you've installed the more familiar simm or the dimm chips,you will have no problem installing the RIMM chips.
With the motherboard, rimm memory modules,and the CPU chip are in place, we then install a 20 gigabyte and a 40 gigabyte Hard Drive. You get to see just how easy it is to connect two drives on one Ribbon Cable.
From the hard drive, we then install a Floppy Drive as well as a CD-Writer using the ribbon cable to connect the drive to the Controller. Also, since our motherboard did not come with a video card, we installed a ATI Graphics Accelerator Card.
